You may purchase either the GBC or EFL Certification program.
Green Builder Certificate (Level 1)
To become Green Builder Certified, you will complete seven courses covering the fundamental principles of green building relating to energy, building durability, indoor air quality, resource effieciency, and water effieciency. Completion of the course work includes passing the test associated with each course. Users will then become eligible to receive a Green Builder Certificate.

Environments for Living Certificate
Masco Contractor Services offers an alternative training program that covers framing, insulating, HVAC and plumbing. If you elect to take the courses in this program, you will receive credit for equivalent building science courses inn the Green Builder Certification program. Contractors choosing this training path will also become eligible to participate in the Environments for Living® program.

Houses That Work (Level 2) Joining forces with the Energy and Environmental Building Alliance, Green Builder College offers an advanced Green Builder certification through the Houses that Work educational program. To become Level 2 Green Builder Certified, you will complete six courses covering the physics of green building; practical methods of insulating and ventilating high-performance homes; managing moisture and indoor air quality; plus the business acumen needed to sell high-performance homes. Individual courses are also available on a per course basis.
